On Wednesday 23 July 2025, Beon Energy Solutions officially launched their second Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which will cover the period of July 2025 – July 2027. This milestone was made even more meaningful as the RAP was dedicated to the memory of Shaurntae Lyons, a proud Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta woman who passed away in February 2025.
Shaurntae played a significant role in shaping Beon’s approach to reconciliation and community engagement. Her unwavering passion, leadership, and commitment to her community deeply influenced and inspired employees across the business.
Reaching this point has taken the commitment of many current and former Beon employees, and we thank everyone who contributed to this important body of work.
“This RAP represents more than a document; it’s a genuine commitment to make a positive impact in the communities and regions where Beon operates,” said Beon’s General Manager, Kieren Lewis. “Fulfilling the actions set out in our RAP will require us to build strong, respectful relationships and continue learning about the cultures, histories and lived experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.”
