Cultural heritage

The name, Te Rahui, reflects the traditional Māori practice of rāhui, a custom centred on the protection and preservation of nature’s resources. The project will feature an integrated environmental and social program, combining extensive ecological restoration with meaningful collaboration and engagement with mana whenua – the Māori people with enduring historical and territorial connections to the land.
