About the project
Girgarre Solar Farm is a ground-mounted, bi-facial solar farm located in Stanhope, Victoria. The farm has a total energy capacity of 93MW, powered through the installation of approximately 169,000 photovoltaic (PV) modules.
Beon was selected to deliver the project under a full engineering, procurement and construction scope. Beon energised and commissioned the solar farm, conducting the grid connection testing as part of the project. Beon was responsible for detailed design of the solar farm, including grid connection studies.
The Girgarre Solar farm is owned by Enel Green Power Australia.
