About the project
The Kidston Clean Energy Hub is located in North Queensland. The second stage of the Hub consisted of a 250MW Pumped Storage Hydro Project which involved repurposing an abandoned gold mine into a large-scale energy storage facility.
Beon was appointed to deliver and develop the connection assets infrastructure at Kidston under a design and construct contract.
The Kidston Clean Energy Hub is owned by Genex Power.
